Logotype and Color Palette
The logotype is minimal and modern with a
t-shirt displaying the universal symbol of a heart, easily recognizable across all ages and backgrounds. The color palette is also one of simplicity with shades of dark and light gray, in addition to a burst of sunshine orange. Orange evokes feelings of happiness, optimism and energy. All the feelings meant to reinforce the good vibes of HumaniTee.
Competitor Analysis
As part of the research going into creating the site, I looked at 3 competitor retail sites
to determine how to improve on current
e-commerce design. I studied how each site allows users to filter products, select category pages, select items to purchase,
and the checkout process to pay for those items. This helped me to better understand what factors matter most to a user as he/she is online shopping.
Checkout Process
One of the most important features in an
e-commerce site is how to make the checkout process as user friendly as possible. To achieve this, I made each step clear for the user, with a progress indicator for each page during the checkout. After entering all of their shipping and payment information, the user is then prompted to create an account to make future purchases even simpler.
